Updraft Privacy Notice

This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data of customers (hereinafter "Customers" or “you”) through the website https://getupdraft.com (hereinafter "Updraft") and / or the mobile website Updraft (hereinafter "Updraft Mobile Web") (collectively (“Updraft”) provided by Apps with love AG (hereinafter referred to as" Apps with love" or “us”).
This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the Updraft General Terms and Conditions of Apps with love.
Please read this Privacy Notice carefully before you use Updraft. You are the controller of any personal data you process when using Updraft, in particular the personal data of your users for the purposes of beta-testing. You confirm that you comply with the data protection laws applicable to you.
Data protection and data security are a top priority for us. We adhere strictly to the applicable data protection laws in Switzerland. We protect all data using the highest confidentiality and security standards. We deploy technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data adequately against unauthorised access, manipulation, loss and destruction and review these measures on a regular basis.
This Privacy Notice does not apply to websites of third party providers which can be accessed through Updraft. We have no influence on how these companies comply with data protection requirements.
The term "data processing" includes all steps in the handling of personal data from the collection to storage and use to deletion. We process personal data of the users of Updraft in connection with different processes for different purposes. For details on data, purposes, legal bases, possible disclosure and recipients, please refer to the following.
In connection with the use of the individual website and mobile website services, Apps with love and/or its service providers (system, distribution and logistics partners) collect and process the following data:
(a) The contact information (master data) of you as a Customer that you provide at registration including, as a minimum, first name, surname, gender, e-mail address, as well as information about the means of payment.
(b) Contact information (master data) of your end-users that you invite to use Updraft. These include first name, surname and e-mail address.
(c) Payment information including information about the services you purchased. When you upgrade your account to the pay-as-you-go-plan, your credit card information is directed to our third-party payment provider Stripe (where the stripe privacy policy applies). We only store the expiry date, the last 4 digits of your credit card and the customer-ID generated by our payment provider in our system.
(d) Technical Information including information about the date and time of the website visit, the pages visited, IP address, device ID and type, language settings, information on data usage and storage, products uploaded to Updraft, applications or software, uploaded information about Products, applications or software, as well as product and version information of the operating system and browser used by the Customer's or end-user’s device.
(f) Technical Information SDK: If you use and implement our open source provided SDK in your app code: you and Updraft will get information about end-users UDID, users device name, system version, navigation stack, e-mailadress if provided by the user and custom data. Also, you have the possibility to make an integration to create automatically tickets or tasks into your defect management tool.
Apps with love will process personal information for the following purposes:
(a) For the execution of the contract, namely the provision of a service;
(b) For general advertising aimed at the Customer (newsletter, news by e-mail) in connection with the services offered on the website and via the mobile website, unless the Customer declines;
(c) For personalized advertising aimed at the Customer, namely in the form of additional offers for services that are tailored to the Customer’s needs, unless the Customer declines;
(d) The technical information data is analyzed on an anonymous and aggregated basis for the ongoing optimization of the Updraft, Updraft Mobile Web and the services offered thereon.
(a) As a rule, we do not share your data with third parties nor do we make it available to third parties.
(b) Data or contact details of you will only be disclosed to third parties if the data is public data, if this is necessary in connection with the use or provision of our services, or if this is done in order to comply with legal obligations or official requirements or this is otherwise legally permitted.
(c) Further, we use third party software to distribute our newsletters, and you hereby agree that your data may also be stored with this third party service provider for the purpose of distribution of such newsletters.
(d) If you choose to link our Services to a third-party account, we will receive information about that account, such as your authentication token from the third-party account to authorize linking and other third-party account-level information such as your name or linking configuration.
The retention period is as follows:
(a) Master data: until the profile has been deleted by you, at the earliest 6 months after the last successful login on to Updraft.
(b) Payment information: At least 6 months after the conclusion of the contract for the purchase of a service.
(c) Technical information data: until the profile is deleted by you.
On our web pages, we use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on the visitor's device. Cookies record how our website is used and enable us to analyze, manage, develop and improve our services.
Visitors can use personal browser settings to decide whether to accept or disable cookies or other tracking technologies or to warn them against the use of these technologies. For more information, please use the help function of your browser. Disabling or disabling such features may limit or exclude your use of our website.
On our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Cookies are saved on website visitors’ computers which allow an analysis of the visitors’ use of the Website.
The information generated by the cookie about the use of the public part of our website is, as a rule, transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use the service on our website with activated IP anonymization. This means that on our website, your IP address is shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and therefore anonymised. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services related to the use of the website and the Internet to us as operator of the website.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, some features of our website may not work if the use of cookies is disabled.

Apps with love use social plugins ("plugins") from various social networks.
When you visit a web page containing plugins, the browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective social network. The contents of the plugins are transmitted from the respective social network directly to the browser and integrated by the latter into the website. By integrating the plugins, the social network receives the information that the device used by the customer has accessed the website.
If you are logged in to the respective social network, your visit to our website will be assigned to your account on the respective social network. If you interact with the plugins, for example, by using the Facebook "Like" button or make a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly to the respective social network and stored there.
Please note that we receive no information about the content of the transmitted data or of the use of these by the respective social network.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the respective social network as well as the respective rights and options for the protection of the privacy of the customer are governed by the privacy policy of the respective social network.
On our website, you can participate in interactive forums, chats and weblogs (blogs). Please note that any information you provide in these areas is publicly available and can be re-edited by Apps with love.
Updraft websites, products, applications, and services may contain links to third party websites, products, and services. Our products and services may also use or offer products or services from third parties − for example, a Slack App, Microsoft Teams, App Store Connect API, Play Store Service Account, flow.swiss, Sentry or Mailgun.
Information collected by third parties, which may include location data or contact details, is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of such third parties.
As a data subject, you can make use of the following rights. To claim these rights, please contact us at the below-stated address and provide us with appropriate identification.
You have a right to request access to personal data processed by us. We will provide prompt information about the data processed, including available details of the origin of the data, the purpose as well as the categories of processed personal data, those involved in the collection and the recipients of the data and further information as required by applicable law.
Website visitors have the right to have personal data concerning him or her rectified. Upon request, all personal data of a website visitor shall be deleted, unless such deletion is not possible due to a legal or contractual duty of retention. Anonymized data of members will continue to be held in our database and processed for statistical and analytical purposes.
We collect and retain personal data from you only for as long as it’s used for our legitimate business purposes, or as required by law. We will delete your personal data when it is no longer needed, or when you request us to do so by contacting us at info@getupdraft.com.
We cannot guarantee confidentiality for transmissions by other means (e.g. by email). The internet, websites and the electronic transmission of data are considered fundamentally insecure with regard to confidentiality and data security. Unauthorised third parties may be able to access information that is exchanged through the above channels, and data can be damaged or changed in content. We assume no liability for the security of data transmitted electronically.
By using Updraft or Updraft Mobile Web, you agree to the processing of personal data in accordance with this Data Privacy Policy.
