Are you familiar with the following problem: You have just developed a new beta app for iOS and Android. Now you want to have these two apps tested by your testers, your project managers and your customers. How do you distribute the app to your target group if you don't know the operating system of your end testers?
You can of course make two emails to your target group, one with an installation link to the iOS app and another email with an installation link to the Android app. Sounds tedious?
In this blog post, we'll show you how Updraft's beta release feature is a simple solution to your problem.
We at Updraft call this feature: beta release.
With Updraft, you can
send two app versions
for two different operating systems
to your specific target group
with one installation link
at the same time.
Updraft generates a single app installation link which your target group will receive via email or via a public installation link. This specific app installation link redirects your audience to the Updraft installation page when clicked on it. Updraft detects the operating system of your end-user and only shows them the app version you have configured for downloading.
Combined with the beta release feature, Updraft generates a single installation link for your app for two operating systems (iOS and Android).
This feature is exclusively available in our paid plan. But no worries - we charge reasonably. Find out more about our pricing at getupdraft.com/pricing.
