For a long time there was no update with new features or improvements, but today, the time has finally come. After many iterations, usability tests and analyzing amazing feedback from the Updraft beta users, we launch Updraft with an improved visual information hierarchy and some new features, which will help you improve your development and application testing process. Today, we are launching — this is our biggest update yet and we are excited!

If your are still looking for a testflight or hockeyapp alternative, now it’s time to register for free.

Dashboard

Many Updraft users have given us feedback that they cannot find their apps within Updraft. We always assumed that they probably have the wrong user permissions, but after several rounds of feedback, we found that a well-structured dashboard with the most necessary information is missing. That's why Updraft now has a way better dashboard so that everyone can find their apps instantly.

Creating Projects

Many of our users often develop apps for both platforms - iOS and Android - at a rapid pace. The switching between the individual apps, projects and environments within Updraft was not clear to many of the users, so we optimized the creation of projects. An app project is now a container for all of your apps across all platforms. It supports sharing features such as build management, release management, feedback management and app & environment configuration across your apps for both major platforms.

Builds

Did you know that Updraft has a build history? If not, then you are not the only one. With the new information hierarchy, managing and uploading new builds into your app will be a breeze. Now you can conveniently manage your builds on a separate page, you'll see all the information and have the option to send each uploaded build - even old ones.

You can select each build individually. And for each individual build, there is a public link that you can send to whoever you want. Activate the QR code to install the last build on your device even faster or send the desired build by e-mail.

Feedbacks

We already developed and released our Open Source SDKs last year for iOS and Android. The received feedbacks you can now easily manage on a separate page for each app.

Releases

With Updraft you now manage your releases. Often we were made aware that it is not clear how distributing applications to multiple people works and which app is distributed with which build.

You now have the opportunity to add all your users and groups to your distribution list and then create a new release. While creating a new release you can choose which build you want to ship, you can change or add release notes, you have the option to customize the users and groups, and before you send the release, you have a complete overview about your release. And last but not least, you can enable the tutorial that shows your users how to install Enterprise Certified Apps on their mobile device.
